Social Stretch Goal! Add another short to Issue #0!

First off, we are one week in, and almost to $1800 raised. Thank you all for keeping the momentum going. To get us through what is usually the slower part of a Kickstarter, we are excited to announce a Social Stretch Goal today!

The Goods:

If we unlock this goal, that will mean the add a fourth short to every copy of Discordia Issue #0. This short is tentatively titled Fear Factory. This short is gonna be a big deal because Patrick is writing it and doing the art! I'm just along for the ride with the rest of you, and I'm here for it!

Fear Factory will tell the story of a factory uprising led by our new heroine Maggie who you can see above. Industrial revolution era factories were bad enough when your boss wasn't a blood-sucking vampire fanboy...

The Goal:

The point of a social goal like this is to spread the word of Discordia far and wide! In order to do that, we will be posting and tweeting the image of Maggie above, along with a link to this project. In order to unlock this story, we need you all to share and retweet 50 times! (That's 50 shares on Facebook and 50 retweets on Twitter). If we pull this off, you all get another awesome short, and we get that many more eyeballs on the project!

Even better, every person that shares this is entered to win a print of Maggie!

Over 50% Funded!

We are already over 50% funded on this project! Thank you all for being early supporters of Discordia. Let's keep this momentum going so that we can focus on knocking out some stretch goals over the next few weeks. So far we are at 61 backers and $1617 raised!

A few updates:

• The Reanimated Fan reward level is gone already! Wow, that one went fast. For anyone sad that they missed a chance to be drawn into Discordia, don't despair, we have one more surprise coming up on that front.
• We got the script for Issue #1 back today from edits. Expect to see more about that in the coming months.
• We added a Retailer level, so hit up your local shops and tell them to take a look!
• We will be unveiling a Social Stretch Goal this coming week. It will be an exciting way to add more content to Issue #0!

What an amazing 48 hours this has been. Thank you all so much! We are over 30% funded in the first two days.

First Day Down!

The first 24 hours of the project are over! So far we have raised $407 from 29 backers. A big thanks to all of you who have jumped in early!

We still have a long way to go, but Patrick and I have some more surprises coming. Look for us on a few podcasts this week discussing all things Discordia, including Imaginary Ramblings, Spoilerverse, and Nerds from the Crypt.

Also, to keep the momentum going into next week keep any eye out for some social stretch goals and other surprises coming soon!
